An uptight lawyer, Lenny Rubin, has to put his dream retirement on hold when his ailing mother emotionally blackmails him into reuniting his estranged children for a Jewish holiday. His children, a diverse and quarrelsome group, include a ruthless businessman, an outspoken eco-warrior, a Buddhist monk, and a born-again Rabbi. As they come together, they must put aside their differences and learn to appreciate their family bond.
