In the small Canadian town, a gang of fur thieves, led by the corrupt Mayor Victor Renaud, terrorizes trappers, killing them for refusing to sell their pelts at a low price. The Royal Northwest Mounted Police take notice and send Lucky Kerrigan, a former Mountie, to infiltrate the gang.
