An Ivy League professor emeritus brings Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to life in Rwanda, directing the play with Rwandan college students from both Hutu and Tutsi backgrounds in Kigali.

Andrew Garrod, an Ivy League professor, takes a group of Rwandan college students from both Hutu and Tutsi backgrounds to Kigali to stage Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The students, mostly orphans, work together to overcome their past and their own futures as they prepare for opening night.
