Ella, a Chinese American taxi driver, navigates her daily routine in San Francisco while raising her 8-year-old son. A chance encounter at a local bar leads her to Mike, a charismatic stranger who awakens her passions. As they spend more time together, Ella becomes deeply invested, while Mike views their relationship as a fleeting distraction.
