Irene von Helldorf's 21st birthday celebration takes a dark turn when her father, Robert, reveals the mysterious past of the castle's Blue Room, where three people were murdered under unknown circumstances. To prove his courage and win Irene's heart, Tommy challenges the other suitors to spend a night in the room. One by one, the suitors disappear, and are found dead, with no signs of forced entry or exit. As the mystery deepens, Commissioner Forster suspects Robert, but the truth is revealed when Robert's long-lost brother, who had disappeared years earlier, is found to be the killer.
