A homeless butterfly enthusiast witnesses a gangland shooting, is taken to a tunnel, and awakens to a gruesome scene. The police investigate, concluding it was a botched drug deal, and release the Butterfly Man. However, the CIA soon arrives, seeking a rogue agent who vanished 15 years prior, with the Butterfly Man being their only potential lead.
