The 7th Dawn

Major Ferris, an American who fought alongside Australian forces in Malaysia during WWII, finds himself at the center of a conflict eight years later. As the British struggle to maintain control of the colony, Major Ferris' business ventures remain untouched by the guerrilla war. His friendship with Malaysian colonel Ng, a former war comrade, is rekindled when Ng returns from Moscow to coordinate the guerrilla groups. The British officials ask Major Ferris to contact Ng with a message, hoping to persuade the guerrillas to cease their attacks and allow the British to withdraw peacefully.
