A tired office worker, Charlie, is stuck with a massive workload on a night shift. He's exhausted, and his job is draining his creativity and motivation. Just as he's about to lose hope, his copier starts malfunctioning, producing a mysterious black hole on the page. Charlie's curiosity gets the better of him, and he finds himself drawn to the hole, eventually sticking his arm into it and retrieving his coffee cup. As he explores the hole's capabilities, he begins to think of ways to use it to his advantage, and his creative juices start flowing once more.
