The movie is about the liberation of Afghanistan from the Taliban's brutal regime after 9/11. A family, led by matriarch Farishta Mansouri, opens a restaurant and poetry platform, "The Poet's Corner", providing a safe space for Afghans to express themselves freely. However, this sparks a violent backlash from the Taliban, who target the family in a bid to silence their voices.
