Andreas, a 40-year-old man, wakes up in an unfamiliar city with no recollection of how he got there. He is suddenly presented with a job, an apartment, and even a wife, but his newfound life is shrouded in mystery. As he tries to make sense of his situation, Andreas discovers that something is amiss and attempts to escape, only to find that the city has no exit. Desperate for a way out, Andreas meets Hugo, who has discovered a hidden crack in his cellar that emits beautiful music. Together, they hatch a plan to use the mysterious crack to reach "the other side" and potentially find freedom.
