A journalist, Charlotte Hart, is investigating a real estate development in her small town when she's involved in a car accident and falls into a coma. Her spirit remains awake, and she meets the developer, who is also in a coma. With only a few days to influence the town's vote, Charlotte must find a way to communicate with the developer and the townspeople to change their minds about the development.
