In the Hell's Kitchen of New York City, a group of five friends, now adults, reunite after years apart. Marty, once sent to a reformatory, now runs a nightclub and gambling house, while Helen is a singer performing there. Jerry is a priest, and the O'Mara brothers are policemen. Their reunion turns deadly when one of Marty's customers is found dead, and the brothers are tasked with investigating.
