Gang leader Joe Colson is released from prison, prompting the Consolidated Life Insurance Company to hire a private detective to protect him before his policy expires. The detective, Mike Henderson, boards a plane bound for the coast, only to have it hijacked by three gangsters mid-flight. The plane is forced to land at a secluded hunting lodge, where the gangsters hold the passengers hostage, demanding that Colson reveal the location of his hidden money.
