A disillusioned former priest, defrocked after a scandal, now leads a group of tourists in Mexico while developing a connection with a teenage girl. He faces backlash from the girl's guardian, who tries to have him fired, and seeks refuge at a remote hotel. His life is turned upside down by the arrival of a free-spirited young woman and her grandfather, who challenge him to confront his past and re-examine his values.
