In 1961, Tulsa, Oklahoma is sharply divided along social lines, with rival gangs of working-class Greasers and wealthier South Side Socs vying for dominance. The two groups constantly clash, their tensions simmering just below the surface. But when a group of Socs brutally attack two Greasers with a knife, the fragile peace is shattered, setting off a chain reaction of violence and revenge.
