The Pocatello Kid background

The Pocatello Kid

A man on the run assumes the persona of his slain sibling, a notorious outlaw, to avoid capture by the Sheriff and exact vengeance.

Ken Bledsoe, aka The Pocatello Kid, escapes from prison to clear his name after being imprisoned for a crime committed by his twin brother Jim. He heads to his brother's town, where Jim is now the sheriff and leader of a gang of rustlers. After Jim is killed, Pocatello is offered sanctuary by Pete Larkin, who asks him to pose as his brother and become the new sheriff. As part of the deal, Pocatello must also continue the engagement to Mary Larkin, whom he finds attractive. Pocatello uses his new position to eliminate the gang and clear his own name.
