Three individuals, Andy Barden, Edna Jordan, and Dan Murdock, vie for control of the valuable mine left behind by Abner Ferrige. After Edna initially takes possession, Murdock convinces her to leave, allowing his men to claim the mine. However, when a lawyer arrives to reveal that Ferrige never filed the necessary documents, the three claimants rush to the claims office to be the first to stake their claim.
