The Prime Ministers: Soldiers and Peacemakers

Moriah Films presents its latest feature documentary, a follow-up to the critically acclaimed film, which premiered in North American theaters in the fall of 2013.

The Prime Ministers: Soldiers and Peacemakers is a documentary that follows the experiences of Ambassador Yehuda Avner as he worked for Prime Ministers Yitzhak Rabin and Menachem Begin. Based on Ambassador Avner's best-selling book, the film explores the negotiations for the first bilateral treaty between Israel and Egypt, Israel's rescue of hostages in Entebbe, and the Camp David Accords. The movie also examines the tense relationships between the prime ministers and US presidents, including Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. The film features the voices of Michael Douglas as Yitzhak Rabin and Christoph Waltz as Menachem Begin, and includes rare, never-before-seen photos and film footage.
