A wife's world is shattered when her husband's lies are exposed, leaving her torn between loyalty and the devastating consequences of staying with him.

The film is based on the true story of Brianne Hawkins, whose husband Clay was known for his violent outbursts. When a man tries to flirt with Brianne one night, Clay shoots him dead. Despite the chaos, Clay convinces Brianne to falsely claim responsibility for the shooting, saying it was an accident. However, their plan backfires, and they both receive life sentences.
