On Christmas Eve, a frazzled father struggles to keep his two rambunctious kids from squabbling. However, one of the siblings, Scoop, harbors a dark secret: he wishes his sister Hela were dead. Unbeknownst to him, their words and actions have the power to manifest in a bizarre alternate reality. As Hela becomes a malevolent spirit, determined to torment Scoop, his world begins to unravel.
