Three friends, once cursed by a vengeful "O'Monahan" for mocking him, have achieved success and now live together as bachelors. When a 7-year-old girl named Sheila asks them to be her guardians, they initially refuse. However, they soon realize they need her inherited property to achieve their goals, so they decide to take her in and manipulate her into giving them the land, intending to donate it to a university and secure their legacy. However, Sheila's inherited property is protected by magical "little people" who prevent her from selling it.
