The movie is based on real events and tells the story of the last Ukrainian ship in Crimea, which resisted and continued to fight bravely against the enemy after the occupation of the Crimean Peninsula in February 2014. The ship, U311 "Cherkasy", was blocked in Lake Donuzlav by the Russian fleet, leaving no escape route to the sea. Despite being surrounded, the crew refused to surrender, choosing instead to fight on in a desperate struggle against the occupying forces.
