In 1965, during the peak of the Vietnam War, a group of musicians from the Hanoi National Conservatory of Music escaped their city to seek refuge in a rural village.

In 1965, students and teachers from the Hanoi National Conservatory of Music fled to a village in the countryside to escape the intensifying Vietnam War. With the help of villagers, they built an underground campus, featuring hidden tunnels connecting classrooms and an auditorium. They lived, studied, and played music for five years, despite the war raging around them.
