A group of naval officers, led by Lieutenant Sylvester Green, stumble upon a foreign ship, Agraria, and decide to attach some old equipment and paint it Naval grey. The next morning, Green's commanding officer notices the new equipment and asks about it, leading to a series of confusing events. Green is sent to the Agraria as a radar instructor and the crew believes the ship is a powerful secret weapon. Green is eventually held prisoner in the Agrarian palace, but is eventually rescued by his girlfriend and a colleague. In the end, the Agrarians are able to manufacture their own radar equipment as a deterrent to their neighbors.
