In the Irish town of Ballymoran, the Cassidy family discovers a mysterious man in red leather, who they assume is an alien. He awakens and assumes the identity of Zonad, claiming to have landed on their planet. As Zonad, he becomes a celebrity, enjoying free beer, a nice home, and the attention of many women. However, his charmed life is threatened when a resident becomes suspicious and another rehab escapee, Bonad, arrives, claiming to be an alien as well.
