In the isolated city of Jouga, known for its hassaku citrus and alleged wolf sightings, Hiroshi Kuzumi relocates with his father and sister, who is coping with a physical disability. However, beneath the town's friendly façade, a dark mystery develops as people inexplicably disappear.
In the mountain town of Jouga, 15-year-old Hiroshi Kuzumi and his family settle down due to his father's job. Hiroshi quickly befriends classmates Isuzu Tsumuhana and Kaname Asagiri. However, as time passes, people start to vanish, with the townsfolk attributing their disappearances to relocation or transfer. Hiroshi's instincts suggest otherwise, and under the eerie glow of a red moon, mysterious masked figures, led by a girl wielding a scythe, stalk their prey at night.
