Talented dancers underwent a year-long transformation, rehearsing for 104 sessions and performing 10 high-energy shows, wearing 473 custom-made costumes and traveling 2,197 miles to create a dazzling spectacle.

The documentary "5...6...7...8" captures the emotions and excitement of a year in the life of Nova Jazz, an elite girls dance company, based out of The Pulse Performing Arts Studio in Bedford Hills, NY. The company, led by Artistic Director Jennifer Dell, selects new members from over 500 students, and only a few have what it takes to survive the year. The film follows the dancers as they perform at various events, including Six Flags, the Cherry Blossom Parade, and dance festivals, and culminates with the year-end concert.
