A SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME is a Western that takes place in the Sonoran Desert, following Sundog, a reclusive survivalist who lives off the land. As Border Patrol surveillance threatens his freedom, Sundog becomes increasingly uneasy and ventures beyond his usual routine. The film explores themes of environmental justice and human survival through Sundog's complex character, who is drawn to eco-terrorism and smokes the psychedelic venom of a Sonoran toad.
