All Static & Noise

The film sheds light on the brave struggles of individuals and their loved ones as they resist China's closed-off and repressive policies, uncovering the harsh reality of Uyghur internment and "re-education" centers.

A Uyghur teenager, Jewher, flees China after being brutally separated from her father at the Beijing airport. Meanwhile, Abduweli, a linguist and poet who was imprisoned and tortured for teaching the Uyghur language, escapes to Istanbul. They join other survivors of China's "re-education camps" and their families in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Europe, and the US, working together to expose the atrocities and hope that global awareness will bring about change.
