Raymond Luc Levasseur, a former political prisoner, was arrested in 1984 for his involvement in bombings by the United Freedom Front. While in prison, he wrote "My Blood is Quebecois" in 1992, detailing his rebellion and radicalization due to his French Canadian heritage and experiences with racism in a Maine mill town. Released in 2004, Levasseur returned to Maine and shared his life story from childhood to present day.
