After 20 years of fascism, the Italian scout association was shut down, but a group of boys refused to give up. Led by Andrea Ghetti and Giulio Cesare Uccellini, they founded the Stray Eagles, a clandestine scout group that continued to help others in secret. Despite facing violence and opposition from fascist forces, the Eagles persevered, using a hidden base near Milan to support the resistance until the end of the war.
