A young writer, Ben Anderson, discovers a mysterious TV by the side of a desert road and brings it home, unknowingly inviting the spirit of a long-dead priest into his life. As the entity begins to judge those around him for their supposed sins, Ben and his friends must fight for survival over the course of seven days, ultimately leading to a perilous exorcism ritual.
