Bosko and his dog Bruno enjoy a fun day of ice skating, but things take a turn when Bruno falls through the ice. After a brief scare, Bruno emerges unharmed from a hollow tree. The duo soon discovers an abandoned baby in the snow and takes it to Bosko's cabin. Despite the baby's constant crying, Bosko finds a way to make it laugh, but not before a close call where he nearly drowns.
