Blazing Barriers background

Blazing Barriers

In a wilderness-based rehabilitation program, two troubled youths discover a new path to personal growth and self-discovery through hard work and challenging experiences.

Two young boys, Tommy and "Fats" Moody, try to rob a warehouse, but escape before the police arrive. They then travel west, befriend retired actors, and join the Civilian Conservation Corps to evade the law. However, they soon lose their tough demeanor and become law-abiding citizens. Tommy falls in love with the sheriff's daughter, but is accused of murdering a camp leader and goes into hiding. He later tries to stop an arsonist and is shot, only to escape and release a trapped deputy from a nearby cabin.
