Paul Dover, an artist living in Paris, is visited by Julia Fraser, an art buyer and critic, who challenges his opinions. Despite their differences, Julia is intrigued by Paul and leaves on friendly terms. However, Paul's unusual behavior is a result of a recent visit from his sister Ellen, who is being blackmailed by her ex-fiancé and asks Paul for help. Paul agrees and sends the incriminating love letters to the Los Angeles Art Museum, where he must pose as blind and team up with Ace, a Wonder Dog, to retrieve the letters, outsmart a criminal gang, and save his sister's marriage.
