Bloodbrothers background

Bloodbrothers

The film tells the story of a youth torn between tradition and self-discovery, as they navigate the challenges of staying true to their heritage and pursuing their own aspirations.

Two middle-aged brothers, Louis "Chubby" and Tommy De Coco, live by an unofficial code of conduct in the Bronx, prioritizing male bonding and traditional gender roles. However, beneath the surface, their families are struggling with hidden issues. Their youngest son Albert has anorexia, while their oldest son Tommy Jr., also known as Stony, is struggling to find his path in life. Stony wants to work with children, but his father's expectations and traditional views make it difficult for him to follow his dreams.
