College student Mala's Bollywood dreams begin to take shape when she's approached by Mr. Sharma and his assistant, Mr. Verma, who promise to guide her to stardom. However, her parents' opposition to her aspirations leads them to arrange her marriage, restricting her potential. Mala turns to Sharma for advice, who suggests she escape with a large sum of cash. As greed takes over, Sharma kills Verma, and Mala is left on the run for her life. She boards a bus from Bombay to Goa, unaware of the journey's end, but Sharma's relentless pursuit threatens her survival.
