Keith Whitney, the son of a wealthy Senator, makes a tumultuous entrance into the west, his evening marred by a night of excessive drinking at a border cafe.

Keith Whitney, a spoiled easterner and son of a wealthy Senator, heads west to buy a ranch, but instead finds himself a drunk at a border cafe after losing his father's money. However, his luck changes when he meets rancher Tex, who takes him in and introduces him as a part-owner to his father. When the Senator and his girlfriend are kidnapped, Keith, now reformed, teams up with Tex to rescue them in a thrilling adventure.
