A renowned violinist's career is disrupted by a hand injury, prompting him to refocus on his son, who has developed a passion for swing music.

A renowned violinist, Arthur Williams, suffers an accident that leaves him unable to play due to injured fingers. His son, William, has a passion for swing music, despite his father's preference for classical music. To make ends meet, William enters a competition, intending to play classical pieces, but his violin is sabotaged, causing him to improvise with swing music when two of his strings break.
