Brotherhood of Death background

Brotherhood of Death

A group of African American Vietnam War veterans band together to face off against the Ku Klux Klan in a tense and powerful confrontation.

Three African American men, Raymond, Junior, and Ned, flee after a confrontation with a white man and join the army, where they fight in Vietnam. Upon returning to Kincaid County, they decide to help oppressed citizens assert their rights, registering them to vote with the help of a preacher. However, this sparks backlash from minority Caucasians, who feel threatened and launch a violent attack, donning Ku Klux Klan hoods and displaying signs reading "Fight Communist and Integration."
