In post-Civil War Texas, a wealthy deposit of bauxite is discovered by Sam White, but lawlessness reigns and Jim Tulane's gang holds power. After White's murder, Tulane seeks the valuable secret, believing it's hidden in a toy wagon given to White's son. However, the boy unwittingly solves the puzzle, only to discover that a henchman has already stumbled upon the answer.
