In the summer of 2012, American climber Paul Robinson embarked on his fourth trip to South Africa to discover new bouldering sectors in Cape Town. Accompanied by local climbers and fellow American Carlo Traversi and young prodigy Ashima Shiraishi, Paul spent nearly three months exploring the region's most iconic climbing destinations, including Topside, Rocklands, St James Park, and Echo Valley. The film "Chasing Winter" chronicles their 55-minute adventure, featuring almost exclusively first ascents on perfect, sculpted rock.
