Chau, Beyond the Lines background

Chau, Beyond the Lines

In a world ravaged by war, a young Vietnamese boy with a passion for fashion design finds solace in his dreams, as he strives to overcome the harsh realities of his displaced life.

During the Vietnam War, the US dropped 20 million gallons of chemicals to destroy the Northern Vietnamese Army's food and cover. Decades later, Chau, a teenager living in a care center for kids disabled by Agent Orange, struggles to pursue his dream of becoming a professional artist despite having a rare disability in his arms and legs.
