Rudy, a man who celebrates Christmas every day, has been doing so for 30 years after his father left home on Christmas Day. Despite the joy of Christmas, Rudy's life is lonely and friendless. He meets Clarice, a quirky co-worker, who thinks he's cute, and becomes infatuated with a cool guy he sees on the train. When the cool guy's scarf is lost, Rudy picks it up and believes it makes him cool too. He decides to throw a Christmas party, even though it's Valentine's Day. As Rudy's obsession with Christmas and his father's absence intensify, he embarks on a wild journey to find the meaning of Christmas and the importance of sharing it with others.
