Gautam Khanna, a young man, gets a job in London and must wait for his mother to finalize his marriage. Instead, she sends him to London with his friend's daughter Meera, who is supposed to be his fake fiancée. On the flight, they befriend each other and Meera struggles with her assignment, losing her job. Gautam consoles her and they meet Veronica, who catches Gautam's eye. Unbeknownst to Gautam, Veronica is already in love with Jeremy, who develops feelings for Meera after Veronica's choosy behavior.
