Three electric-company linemen, Torchy, Slim, and Eddie, are constantly reprimanded by their supervisor, Pop Foster, for their carefree behavior. On the day of Pop's retirement, an emergency repair call goes awry, and Pop is killed. The linemen decide to take care of Pop's daughter, Ann, by making her their housekeeper. As they spend more time together, each of them develops romantic feelings for Ann, but she has a soft spot for one of them.
