Three film characters, Ginger, Sean, and Ricky, become self-aware and realize they're trapped in a fictional movie. They band together to defy their predetermined roles and create their own unpredictable narrative. But when the director and producer abandon their original cast, the trio must concoct their own plot twists to take control of the story.
