A former convict, "J", played by Jermaine Hooker Jr, seeks redemption after a year in jail and joins a local Mob in a small town bar. The Mob leaders, James and Dennis, recruit muscle to maintain control over the town. However, "J" wants out and is threatened with death if he tries to leave. Meanwhile, James, 8 months sober, pursues his passion for basketball, while others move to upstate Pennsylvania following a dramatic experience.
