Thomas Muchimba Buttenschøn, born HIV+, emigrated to Denmark as an infant for treatment after his parents died of AIDS at age 8. He recovered, fell in love with music, and became a pop star at 20. After marrying and having two sons, Thomas returned to Zambia and was shocked by the ongoing AIDS devastation. He dedicated his life to using his music to raise awareness and promote treatment in Zambia and Africa, teaming with Zambian musicians to wipe out HIV and AIDS.
