A young man, Ludwig, is on the cusp of joining a prestigious German Studentenverbindung, but he must first demonstrate his honor by engaging in a sword duel with a fellow student. This challenge threatens to disrupt his long-standing friendship with Erik, his mentor and the fraternity's dean.
